NEW! JUNIOR ZOOKEEPER DAY CAMPS - SUMMER 2015
Do you have an animal lover at home? Has your child ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at animal parks and zoos? We’ll help feed and groom animals at the Park, and learn about the responsibilities that come with caring for animals. We'll also incorporate fun arts & crafts activities and lots of time to play on the park grounds.

June 22-26, 2015 from 9am-1pm
July 20-24, 2015 from 9am-1pm
August 17-21, 2015 from 9am-1pm
$249 per week, per child.
$100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment for each week enrolled.
Campers must be age 5-10. Campers must have reached his or her 5th birthday by June 21, 2014.
Please pack a peanut-free snack and a lunch each day.
Camp classes are limited. If your session is full, we will put you on a waitlist. If your child does not get a spot in a class, we will refund your deposit the week of the camp. Minimum enrollment required. If minimum enrollment is not met by 2 weeks prior to camp, we will let you know and refund your deposit. Otherwise, all deposit are non-refundable.

Before paying your deposit, please register by filling out the Registration Form at the tab above. We currently have openings in each summer camp session!
Next, pay the non-refundable camp deposit below. Payments are due the time of registration or your spot will not secured. The remaining balance is due the week before camp.
Please note that registration fees are not refundable for any reason.

The education director Stephanie Johnson has worked in children's education, including in administration, for more than fourteen years. A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a B.S. in Human Development, she teaches with inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy. The Reggio Emilia approach emphasizes individualized learning and creativity through science-inspired activities, problem-solving, art, and other modes of expression.
Stephanie is also actively involved in bonobo conservation. Bonobos are an endangered species of great ape somewhat similar to chimpanzees. She has traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo in her conservation efforts.
