June 10 12 – 2 and June 11 12 – 2

Join us at Leesburg Animal Park this weekend from 12 – 2pm as we come together to celebrate the remarkable world of pollinators! Pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem, and this event aims to raise awareness about their importance and the need for their conservation. From bees and butterflies to birds and bats, pollinators facilitate the reproduction of flowering plants by transferring pollen from one flower to another, enabling fertilization and the production of fruits, seeds, and new plants.

At Leesburg Animal Park, we have a special treat for you at 12PM when the Chestnut Bees will be making an appearance for an educational and fascinating demonstration. Learn about their incredible role as pollinators and how they contribute to our food system. It’s a unique opportunity to witness these industrious insects in action and gain a deeper appreciation for their crucial ecological function.

In addition to the bee demonstration, we will have an arts and crafts station where you can let your creativity soar. Get hands-on and make your own butterfly art creation! Use colorful materials, imagination, and inspiration from these graceful pollinators to craft a masterpiece. It’s a fun and engaging activity for all ages, allowing you to learn while having a wonderful time.

Don’t miss this chance to join us at Leesburg Animal Park and discover the enchanting world of pollinators. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, gain valuable knowledge, and create lasting memories. See you there from 12 – 2pm this weekend!
