Beautiful Birds Camp
June 17-21, 2024 9am-4pm
Beautiful Birds:
Fly high at Jr. ZooKeeper Camp while learning about our feathered friends! From exploring their dinosaur ancestors to meeting our collection of unique birds from around the globe, campers will be immersed in the world of birds. Throughout the week, campers will create enrichment for our birds, conduct experiments about bird anatomy, get up-close encounters with ambassador animals, and have fun experiences through playful, educational content (games, crafts and more)!
- Campers must be ages 5-11. All children must have reached their 5th birthday by the day of camp.
- Please pack a peanut-free snack and lunch each day. There are snacks and refreshments available for purchase in the gift shop.
- To register, complete the registration form and submit payment at the link below.
- Camp size is limited to 20 children, we reserve the right to cancel camp if minimum enrollment is not met.
- Please note, per Virginia law, children under 18 are not allowed to work around exotic animals. While we have plenty of unique experiences during this camp, your child will not be directly caring for animals.
