Butterflies, Bugs and Bees!
July 15 – 19, 2024
Shrink down to the world of bugs for the Butterflies, Bugs & Bees Camp! While they may be small, our crawly friends have a large impact on our world. Throughout the week, campers will watch and learn about the butterfly life cycle by observing each phase and participating in a butterfly release. They will meet bugs and insectivores (bug-eaters), learn their dynamics, conduct insect hunts around our park, get up close encounters with ambassador animals, and have a fun experience through playful educational content (games, crafts and more)!
- Campers must be ages 5-11. All children must have reached their 5th birthday by the day of camp.
- Please pack a peanut-free snack and lunch each day. There are snacks and refreshments available for purchase in the gift shop.
- To register, complete the registration form and submit payment at the link below.
- Camp size is limited to 20 children, we reserve the right to cancel camp if minimum enrollment is not met.
- Please note, per Virginia law, children under 18 are not allowed to work with animals. While we have plenty of unique experiences during this camp, your child will not be directly caring for animals.
